| :but thanks. it started out as a joke! as most of you know when driving auto x the seat belt slip and slide and do not hold. anyone know of a way to fix that? never seen any post on that. im just looking for a way to stay in the fucking seat with out spending $500 on a roll cage. correct 4 or 5 point harnesses will cost you $100-$300.oo alone. FIA spec belts even more. Mount all lap and crotch belts through the floor into backing steel plates under the car. Do not use the existing seat mounting studs/bolts. I use a 5 point belt with stock seats with no problem. I sit on my anti-submarine harness (point 5) and it is mounted behind the seat on the center of the floor. Bringing the submarine belt under the seat and up between your legs defeats the purpose. Buy the harness bar that mounts to the unibody. It works well and is safe. When not in use, remove the bar. There is no feaseable way that the harness bar interferes with the seating position. It sits further back then a roll bar... so I raise the BS high, and proud. As Jason300ZXTT will say (but doesn't understand) "do it right, or don't do it".
